Refund Policy

1. Overview

KNB LIMITED ("we", "our", "us") provides creative design services including brand identity design, UI/UX design, motion graphics, print design, social media design, and brand strategy consulting. Due to the custom and creative nature of our work, our refund policy reflects the time, expertise, and resources invested in each project from the moment work commences.

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before placing any order.

2. Monthly Subscription Plans

For clients on monthly subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise):

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the following month.
  • Refunds for Current Period: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced and design work has begun.
  • No Obligation Period: We do not offer free trials. If you are dissatisfied within the first 7 days and no design work has been commenced or delivered, you may request a full refund of that month's subscription fee.
  • Upgrade/Downgrade: Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Pro-rated refunds for mid-cycle downgrades are not provided.

3. One-Off and Custom Projects

For standalone project engagements (bespoke quotes, custom work):

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total project fee) is required before work commences. This covers initial research, concepting, and creative direction time.
  • Cancellation Before Work Commencement: If you cancel before any design work has begun (within 48 hours of payment), you are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, minus any processing fees.
  • Cancellation After Work Commencement: Once design work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. Any additional amounts paid beyond the deposit will be refunded on a pro-rated basis, reflecting the proportion of work completed.
  • Upon Project Completion: Once final files have been delivered and approved, no refunds will be issued.

4. Revision Rounds

Each plan includes a defined number of revision rounds. If you are dissatisfied with deliverables, we strongly encourage you to utilise your available revision rounds before requesting any refund. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of creative differences where revision rounds remain unused.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

  • KNB LIMITED is unable to deliver the agreed services due to circumstances within our control (e.g., significant staffing issues or operational failures).
  • Deliverables are materially and demonstrably different from the agreed brief and cannot be rectified through revision rounds.
  • A documented technical error resulted in a duplicate or incorrect charge.

Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.) do not entitle clients to a refund but may result in project timeline adjustments.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 14 days of the relevant charge or delivery date:

Please include your full name, contact email, order reference, and a description of the reason for your refund request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. KNB LIMITED is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.

8. Intellectual Property Upon Refund

In the event of a refund, all design concepts, files, and materials created by KNB LIMITED remain the exclusive intellectual property of KNB LIMITED and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed by the client in any form.

9. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our handling of a refund request, you may escalate the matter by contacting our management team at contact@knblimited.com. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable Hong Kong law.
